Liverpool are looking to win their first European trophy since 2019, but face a tough test in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League as they face Serie A side Atalanta.
Jurgen Klopp's side will go into the first leg of the tie off the back of a 2-2 draw with fierce rivals Manchester United; a result which leaves the Reds second in the Premier League table on 71 points, trailing league leaders Arsenal on goal difference.
The Merseyside club take on Atalanta who are sixth in the Serie A table and will be looking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat at Cagliari on Sunday.
The first leg is at Anfield as Liverpool look to complete a treble-winning 2023-24 campaign in Klopp's final season, having already won the EFL Cup in February.
The winners of the tie will play Benfica or Marseille in the semi-finals.
When is Liverpool v Atalanta in the UEFA Europa League?
Liverpool host Atalanta in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final on Thursday, April 11.
Kick-off is 20:00 UK time, with live coverage on TNT Sports commencing at 19:00.
The second leg at Gewiss Stadium is on Thursday, April 18.
