Liverpool have been given a huge boost ahead of their upcoming games against Sparta Prague and Manchester City with the news that Mohamed Salah has returned to training. Salah has played just 45 minutes of action since he returned to the club from the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt as he has been nursing a hamstring issue that flared up upon his return.

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has returned to Liverpool training ahead of the crucial title clash with Manchester City at the weekend.
Salah, 31, suffered a hamstring injury during the Africa Cup of Nations and since returning to Liverpool has played in just one game, scoring as a substitute during a comprehensive win over Brentford live on TNT Sports.
However, since that game on February 17, Liverpool have been cautious with Salah, choosing to leave him out as the team have notched up wins against Luton Town, Chelsea, Southampton and Nottingham Forest across the Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
With manager Jurgen Klopp due to speak to the media later on Wednesday ahead of Thursday evening's Europa League clash away to Sparta Prague - which you can watch live on TNT Sports and discovery+ - it is unclear whether or not he will feature against the Czech champions.
The forward was pictured laughing with his team-mates at training ahead of the European clash.
However, as he has travelled with the squad for the trip, fans will hope that he will be able to play some part in the game ahead of the clash against City at the weekend.
The Reds host City at Anfield on Sunday and currently sit one point ahead of the defending champions at the top of the table.
