Round-up: Stoke City pulled off a late escape against Wrexham as they came from 1-0 down with 10 minutes left to win 3-1.
The Welsh side led 1-0 at the Britannia Stadium thanks to Mark Carrington's 73rd minute goal.
But a goal from Marko Arnautovic on 80 minutes and two from Stephen Ireland on 88 and 90 minutes decided the tie.
Christian Benteke's late strike spared Aston Villa's blushes as they squeezed past Blackpool 1-0 in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Villans looked set for a replay as just two minutes remained on the clock when Benteke smashed home to put the hosts into the fourth round.

There was no such escape for Southampton, however, with the high-flying Premier League side being held 1-1 by Ipswich Town at St Mary's.
The Saints came from behind through Morgan Schneiderlin after Darren Ambrose had given the Tractor Boys an early lead, but could not find a way through and will face a trip to Suffolk for the replay.
Manchester City looked set for one of the shocks of the weekend before fighting back to beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 in the third round of the FA Cup.
City had beaten Wednesday 7-0 when the sides met in the League Cup in September, but the Premier League co-leaders fell behind early on to Atdhe Nuhiu's goal on 15 minutes.
With 25 minutes left City still trailed, but James Milner then scored to level things up - though as time ran down it seemed that Wednesday would at least have a replay to look forward to at Hillsborough.
That proved not to be, though: Milner then struck again a minute into injury time to put City into the fourth round.
Manchester United struggled to get going against Yeovil Town, but eventually came through to win 2-0.
The Somerset side made it to the break goalless, and even blew a superb chance just after half-time as Kieffer Moore scuffed a free shot from the edge of the six-yard box.
Ander Herrera broke the deadlock with a long-range rocket just after the hour mark, however, and Angel di Maria added another in injury time to put the result beyond doubt.
Like United, Chelsea struggled early on against Championship side Watford, but a couple of half-time substitutions saw them take charge and a 3-0 win was the result.

Despite facing Premier League opposition defending champions Arsenal never looked in danger of losing, dominating throughout as they beat Hull City 2-0 in a re-run of May's final.

Patrick van Aanholt's first Sunderland goal was enough to book them a place in the FA Cup fourth round draw at the expense of old foe Leeds.
But the Premier League side suffered a late scare when skipper Liam Cooper headed against the post in the second minute of stoppage time with Black Cats keeper Costel Pantilimon beaten.
Van Aanholt's 33rd-minute strike settled the third round tie at the Stadium of Light by the same 1-0 scoreline which separated the teams at Wembley 42 years ago, when the then second division Wearsiders defied the odds to beat the top-flight aristocrats.
Jamal Campbell-Ryce scored twice as Sheffield United humiliated QPR, taking yet another Premier League scalp and storming into the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Marc McNulty slotted in a 36th-minute opener for the League One side after being put through by Louis Reed's pass, and Campbell-Ryce netted early in the second half after keeper Alex McCarthy was unable to claim Reed's corner.
Campbell-Ryce struck again in the final seconds when he gratefully collected Leroy Fer's wayward back-header and skipped past McCarthy to cap a brilliant Blades victory.
The result continued United's remarkable recent cup record. Nigel Clough's men reached the FA Cup semi-finals last season, beating top-flight Aston Villa and Fulham along the way, and have knocked Southampton and West Ham out of the this term's Capital One Cup.
Scott Dann, Dwight Gayle and Kevin Doyle ensured Alan Pardew was given a winning start to life as Crystal Palace manager as the Eagles avoided FA Cup third-round embarrassment at Dover.

Pardew - finally announced as Neil Warnock's replacement on Saturday - was in the dugout at the Crabble and was able to preside over a 4-0 win against the Conference side.
Centre-half Dann tucked away two first-half goals to stave off any threat of a shock and Gayle added a third to put the result beyond doubt, before forgotten man Doyle added a late fourth.
