Dos Santos in Barca squad

Dos Santos has been promoted early, however, after injuries to Samuel Eto'o and Leo Messi have left the Spanish and European champions short of striking options.

He will not, however, be allowed to play in Liga competition until January as technically he is registered to Barcelona's B team.

Dos Santos is joined by fellow youngsters Marc Crosas (midfielder) and Ruben Martinez (goalkeeper).

Javier Saviola was also included despite carrying an injury as he is expected to resume training early in December.

The tournament starts on December 10th and lasts for eight days in Japan. The other teams participating are Al Ahly (Egypt), Auckland City (New Zealand), Internacional (Brazil), Chonbuk Motors (South Korea) and America (Mexico).
