Kylian Mbappe and Trent Alexander-Arnold are the leading names in the 10-man shortlist for the first ever Kopa Trophy - an award to celebrate under-21 footballers.

The winner will be announced on December 3 and is decided by a jury panel compiled of previous Ballon d'Or winners, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Zinedine Zidane.
The inaugural award is expected to rival Tuttosport’s Golden Boy award, which sees journalists vote for Europe’s best young player.
