Emiliano Sala’s father has described his pain after the missing plane carrying the Cardiff City footballer was found on Sunday.

Tributes to Emiliano Sala are seen outside the stadium prior to the Premier League match between Cardiff City and AFC Bournemouth at Cardiff City Stadium on February 2, 2019 in Cardiff, United Kingdom.

Horacio Sala was speaking after a search boat found the wreckage of the 28-year-old’s plane on the seabed of the English Channel on Sunday morning.
"I cannot believe it. This is a dream. A bad dream. I am desperate," he told Argentina’s Cronica TV.
"I communicated with them every day, but since I do not have WhatsApp it's hard to call them or call me.
"They told me that the days passed and there was no news of Emiliano or the plane."
The Piper Malibu aircraft, which was heading from Nantes to Cardiff following Sala’s £15million move to the Premier League club, went missing on January 21 with the footballer and pilot David Ibbotson, 59, on board.
After rescuers and Guernsey police called off the official search, Sala’s sister, Romina, organised a GoFundMe page that led to a private search being started, and which eventually found the plane.
