Ben Pringle has moved to Ipswich on an initial one-month loan deal from Town's Sky Bet Championship rivals Fulham.
The midfielder has made 18 appearances since moving to the Cottagers from Rotherham last summer but none since Slavisa Jokanovic took the reins late last year.
Pringle, 26, could make his Ipswich debut against Bristol City on Saturday and will be available until the game against his former club Rotherham on March 19 - although there is an option to extend the loan until the end of the season.
"When the opportunity came up to come here on loan, it was an easy decision," Pringle told Ipswich Player HD.
"Ipswich are in a good position, challenging at the top end of the table and I'm here to help in any way I can over the rest of the season.
"After that I will see what happens. Fulham are my parent club and it will depend on what they say but if things go well for me here and Ipswich are happy with me, I'd definitely be interested in getting something done here for the future."
