Marco Asensio and Vinicius Junior inspired Real Madrid to a 3-1 victory over Juventus.
Dani Carvajal put Juventus ahead through an own goal when Joao Cancelo’s first-time cross was turned behind with Keylor Navas unable to stop it.
Juventus were without new signings Cristiano Ronaldo and Leonardo Bonucci, who were not yet ready to take part in the match.
Real Madrid fought their way back into the match just after the half-hour mark when Gareth Bale scored another exceptional goal, volleying past Wojciech Szczesny on the edge of the box.
In the second half, 18-year-old Vinicius Junior teed up Marco Asensio for a lightning-quick goal in the opening minutes, before the two teamed up for another.
Following the departure of Ronaldo, the future looks bright for Real nonetheless.
