Winger Pedro Munitis will return to his former club Racing Santander from Deportivo Coruna, the Cantabrian side said on Tuesday. "It's official, Munitis will play for Racing," Santander said on their website.

"The club has finalised his transfer and will make the agreement with Deportivo and the player public in the next few hours."
The 31-year-old former Spanish international began his career at home-town club Racing where his live-wire performances on the left wing earned him a $10 million move to Real Madrid in 2000.
However, he failed to win a regular place and returned to Racing on loan two seasons later before sealing a move to Deportivo.
The winger rediscovered his best form with the arrival of new coach Joaquin Caparros last season and was one of the Galician club's most influential players as they finished eighth in the Primera Liga.
Munitis's return to Racing is likely to be accompanied by the move of Israeli international goalkeeper Dudu Aouate in the opposite direction.
