Daniel Alves has hit out at Sevilla chairman Jose Maria del Nido after the club failed to agree a transfer fee with Chelsea.
The 24-year-old Brazilian had publicly stated his desire to leave the Andalusian club on a number of occasions, with Chelsea and Real Madrid both rumoured to be interested in him.
Chelsea put in an offer, which was rejected by Sevilla, though the Blues then switched their attentions to Juliano Belletti of Barcelona, leaving Alves frustrated.
"It is the opportunity of a lifetime for me and I haven't changed my opinion, I want to leave," he said.
"I'm disappointed the way I've been treated and I've given everything to this club. I expected a little more respect and the person who runs this club hasn't given it to me."
"We agreed if a good offer arrived the club would look at it. I can't set my price but I think an offer of 36 million euros for a full back is acceptable.
"If I stay at Sevilla I won't be happy because I will always have the feeling I have missed the opportunity of a lifetime."
Real Madrid are also rumoured to be looking for a right-back, though after having blown a combined 48 million euros on Gabriel Heinze and Arjen Robben, it remains to be seen whether they will be ready to spend big money again on Alves.
