Neymar's anemia is worrying - father

The Barcelona forward was diagnosed with an iron deficiency at the weekend, complaining of fatigue after the 8-0 win over Santos.

And despite the club insisting that there are no issues with the young Brazilian, his father has conceded that he is concerned.

“Neymar has significantly low iron levels in his blood,” Neymar da Silva Santos told TV Globo. “The physical tiredness he has had is not normal and is quite worrying.

“As he has almost no fat to lose, losing that muscle mass is troubling.”

According to AS, the young goalscorer has lost almost seven kilos since that start of July.
