Eduardo Camavinga: France Midfielder picks up knee problem on international duty as Real Madrid's injury list grows

Eduardo Camavinga, the French midfielder, has suffered a knee ligament injury on international duty after a collision in training with Ousmane Dembele, the PSG forward. The 21-year-old's absence deepens Real Madrid's injury issues, with Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Vinicius Junior sidelined for Los Blancos, while Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao are also out long-term.

Eduardo Camavinga has sustained a knee ligament injury while on international duty with France, adding another absence to a growing list for Real Madrid.
The midfielder collided with Ousmane Dembele, the Paris Saint-Germain forward, while training with Les Bleus on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old Frenchman, who has been an ever-present in the Madrid midfield three this term, is said to have torn his lateral collateral ligament in his right knee, according to a
, who sit second in La Liga, two points behind shock leaders Girona.
Los Blancos do not know how long Camavinga will be sidelined for, and his absence will be heavily felt by a Madrid side plundered with injuries at present.
Jude Bellingham has had to return prematurely from England duty with a shoulder issue, while Vinicius Junior suffered a thigh niggle in Brazil’s 2-1 defeat to Colombia on Thursday.
Aurelien Tchouameni, the French defensive midfielder, is also out with a stress fracture in his left foot, while Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao are longer-term absentees in the defensive unit.
Arda Guler, the highly-rated teenager signed from Fenerbahce last summer, is yet to make an appearance in the famous white and gold after he suffered a persistent knee problem.
Carlo Ancelotti has also had to contend with another injury issue in his goalkeeping department, with Kepa Arrizabalaga, signed from Chelsea on loan to temporarily replace Courtois, suffering an abductor injury in the warm-up of Madrid’s recent UEFA Champions League game with Braga, which the Spanish side won 3-0.
