Granada defeat Mallorca

Granada CF defeated Mallorca 2-1 in front of 16,000 at Iberostar Estadi on October 7.

Granada CF bagged the game-winner in the 65th minute. Youssef El-Arabi scored his goal from the penalty spot, burying a right-footed shot into the lower right section of the net.
El-Arabi was on the pitch for 89 minutes against Mallorca. The striker scored in the 65th minute, assisted on Gabriel Torje's goal in the 76th minute, took four shots and completed 29 passes. El-Arabi's favorite passing target was Yacine Brahimi, with whom he linked up six times.
Tomer Hemed scored on a header for Los Bermellones in the 86th minute.
Granada CF were forced to play the rest of the match with 10 men when Brahimi was shown a red card in the 67th minute. Even so, Granada CF were able to forge ahead with ten players and secure the victory. Granada CF attempted five shots, including five on target.
Mallorca saw their chance of victory slip away after Emilio Nsue received a red card in the 64th minute. The straight red was the result of a foul, and left the Barralets to contest the rest of the match with 10 men. Mallorca attempted eight shots, including five on target.
Los Bermellones and Granada CF split possession fairly evenly during the first half and the scoreboard was level at zero. Both sides had five shots in the first half, and Mallorca put two attempts on goal compared with two for Granada CF.
Mallorca are in fifth place with a record of three wins, two losses and two draws. Granada CF now sit in 15th in the table with a record of two wins, three losses and two draws.
