David Moyes has vowed to stay at Real Sociedad for the long haul, amid links with potential vacancies at Newcastle United and West Ham United.
The former Everton and Manchester United boss signed an 18-month contract with the Basques in November following Jagoba Arrasate’s dismissal and has guided the side from the relegation zone in La Liga to the comforts of mid-table.
“No,” was his unequivocal answer to the Guardian on whether he would return to the Premier League in the summer.
“There’s always speculation but I’m here to do the job. I’m going to be here. I want to try to get everything in place so we can be at our best for the start of next season.
“I don’t think we need masses and masses but there are improvements I’d like to make, things I want to change. Small things that will help. And if we do that...”
“I’ll be here. I’m not going anywhere.”
