Lionel Messi 'could join PSG' claims Eric Abidal

Eric Abidal has suggested Lionel Messi could look to quit Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain as there’s nothing left to achieve at Camp Nou.

Abidal spoke to Telefoot and his comments, partially reproduced by Sport, hint that Messi could look for a new challenge - and find it in Ligue 1.
“He’s won everything and maybe he would consider a new challenge to win new things,” the recently retired defender said.
“PSG has assembled a group of players with determination and many goals to achieve. It might be the club that would best please Leo.”
Abidal also insisted that in all his time at Barca with Messi, he never once saw the forward throw around his weight.
“He never even asked about the make-up of the team. I’ve never seen him ask for anything,” Abidal added.
