The two clubs are still busy working on the possible transfer of Paul Pogba to the Spanish giants but, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve have now received a formal communication from Madrid informing them that the buy-back clause for Morata will be met by the end of June.
Los Blancos will then have the option of deciding whether to keep hold of the 23-year-old Spain international, who is currently starring for La Roja at Euro 2016, or sell him abroad for a handsome profit.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been touted as possible suitors for the player.
Morata joined the Serie A outfit in July 2014 for a fee of €20m on a five-year contract that included the buy-back agreement.
