Luis Suarez bagged a hat-trick in a chastening afternoon of football for the European champions, that saw them fall 5-1 to Ernesto Valverde’s men.

It was a tough, tough day.
It was of course a Messi-less Barcelona, and some pondered what the score might have been had the 31-year-old played.
There was a fair bit of gloating from those presumably of a Barcelona persuasion.
Even the official Barca account got in on the aciton.
Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui was under pressure coming into the match and was the focus of much of the chat as the goals flowed at Camp Nou.
A touch of common sense amongst the hyperbole.
