Olympique Lyon and Manchester United are after France midfielder Franck Ribery but Olympique Marseille chairman Pape Diouf insists that he wants to keep him in the South of France.
"Our interest is to keep Franck Ribery for another season and I've told that to (Lyon president) Jean-Michel Aulas but I know he's stubborn and will keep trying," Diouf told Marseille's website.
"Manchester (United) representatives have also approached us and we told them the same thing, which is that Franck Ribery is not for sale," he added.
Ribery has just won his first two caps for France with promising displays in World Cup warm-up wins over Mexico and Denmark.
The gifted 23-year-old was arguably the best player in Ligue 1 last season and is being hailed as the next Zinedine Zidane.
