Bougherra makes PSG claim

Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra has claimed he could join the Qatari revolution at Paris Saint-Germain but that unspecified persons are holding up a move.

The Algeria centre-half, who is in discussions with Qatari club Lekhwiya, told France Football that he has also been made an unofficial offer by Qatari-owned PSG.
But after being asked to wait for sporting director Leonardo to be formally appointed, Bougherra claimed that the deal has hit a snag.
"They presented me with the project, and I immediately said 'yes'," he said. "They asked me to wait for Leonardo to arrive at the club.
"Alas two people have put a spanner in the works - they have found excuses on a couple of fronts."
