PSG have suggested that they will look to replace manager Antoine Kombouare in the near future with Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola being named as potential candidates fo the job.
With huge investment already gone into the playing squad, Djamel Belmadi, an advisor to the club's owners has suggested that they will be looking to employ a similarly high profile manager.
Current boss Kombouare has been in charge since 2009 and even though PSG have made an encouraging start to the Ligue 1 campaign, he is already expected to be removed by the end of the season in some quarters.
Djamel Belmadi told Canal +: “The Sheikh wants the best for his club, so it is clear that these names have been on his mind.
“He mentioned the name of Leonardo [now PSG Sporting Director], and had him immediately.
“He wants the best, so maybe Mourinho or maybe, why not, Guardiola.”
