Lyon's struggles in Ligue 1 continued as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Reims, leaving them without a league win this season. Meanwhile, Stade Rennais secured a convincing 3-1 victory against Nantes in the Derby de la Bretagne. This result marks Lyon's lowest points tally at this stage in Ligue 1 history. Elsewhere, Brest held Nice to a goalless draw and Lille secured a 2-0 win at Le Havre.

Lyon's misery in Ligue 1 continued after they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Reims, leaving them yet to win a league match this season.
New manager Fabio Grosso's second match in charge saw his side have early chances they failed to convert, something they would come to regret once Marshell Munetsi's diving header gave Reims the lead on the brink of half-time.
The hosts doubled their advantage in the second half after Junya Ito's header was parried away straight to Younis Abdelhamid, who stuck his header into the back of the net.
The loss means that Lyon still only have two points from their opening seven Ligue 1 games this season, their lowest tally at this stage of the competition in their history.
Stade Rennais beat Nantes 3-1 in emphatic fashion in the Derby de la Bretagne.
The hosts took an early lead after Lorenz Assignon won a penalty in the box as Benjamin Bourigeaud's spot kick in the sixth minute sent keeper Alban Lafont the wrong way.
But Nantes pushed through, and found an equaliser right before the half-time whistle as a defensive blunder from Steve Mandanda and Warmed Omari allowed Pedro Chirivella to capitalise and get on the score sheet.
Despite their effort to get back in the game, the visitors were unable to hang on in the second half, with substitute Désiré Doué scoring from his very first touch of the ball for Rennes.
The home side added a third when Arnaud Kalimuendo scored their second penalty of the night, after Nantes' Mostafa Mohamed was booked twice and sent off for dissent.
Brest held Nice to a cagey goalless draw after another solid defensive performance.
Nice had several opportunities to score in both halves, with Bradley Locko and Khephren Thuram each having the best chances of the match, but Marco Bizot and his backline managed to take care of the away side's wave after wave of attack.
Elsewhere, Lille picked up a 2-0 win at Le Havre, with Edon Zhegovra scoring his first goal in the league before half-time. The lead was doubled after an unlucky own-goal from Havre’s Yoann Salmier in the 52nd minute.
Toulouse managed a dominant win against Metz with goals from Niklas Schmidt, Thijs Dallinga, and Frank Magri, moving their side into the top half of the table.
Jerome Akor's brace helped Montpellier beat Lorient 3-0, ending a five-game run without a win.
The Nigerian now has five goals in seven league appearances this season.
