Lyon find themselves at the bottom of Ligue 1 with a single point after a 4-1 defeat to current champions Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night at the Groupama Stadium. After the heavy loss, Lyon's ultras addressed the players and called upon the leaders in the squad to turn around the fortunes of the side, who are currently managed by Laurent Blanc.

Olympique Lyonnais ultras admonished the club’s players on the pitch after they lost 4-1 to Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday evening.
The match played out at Lyon’s Groupama Stadium and the home fans witnessed a miserable result under manager Laurent Blanc, who has himself come in for criticism after an underwhelming start to the new season.
There was already animosity between the two sides after Bradley Barcola departed Lyon for PSG in the closing stages of the transfer window, and that unrest amongst Lyon fans was exacerbated by the heavy defeat to the current Ligue 1 champions.
Lyon found themselves 4-0 down at half-time as Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring from the spot after just four minutes.
Achraf Hakimi then added a second, before new signing Marco Asensio grabbed the third, and Mbappe doubled his tally four minutes into added time.
With the result beyond doubt, Corentin Tolisso scored a penalty on 76 minutes, and it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
PSG ended the weekend in second spot on eight points, while Lyon are now bottom going into the international break, boasting just a single point after four matches.
After the match, the Lyon squad moved to the stands to face up to their supporters, and a figure from the crowd addressed the players with a megaphone.
He said: "To you, the Olympique Lyonnais 2023-2024 squad, this message is addressed to you, to some of you already, to those who assume the status of dressing-room leaders
"The message is clear: if there are leaders in this dressing room, they no longer have the right to remain silent. You're wearing the Olympique Lyonnais jersey. You're the ones who wear the OL jersey.
"Others before you have worn it, glorified it. You don't have the right to tarnish it. Now that the transfer window is over, the squad is here. All we ask is to be by your side. But to do that, you're going to have to earn it. We love and respect this shirt. There's only one other thing we ask: to sing your names. Sing them with love, not like we sang the names of the little *******. who have left our club in the last six months.
"We want to sing your names with respect, with love. Because we know you play with love. But we expect you guys to respect our jersey, to pull yourselves up by your bootstraps on the pitch, and if we have to take pills, to do so with our heads held high. Go OL."
