Max Kruse has been dropped from Germany’s squad for the upcoming friendlies with England and Italy because of unprofessional behaviour.

The Wolfsburg forward lost a big sum of money in a Berlin taxi in October and was involved in an incident in a club in the city when celebrating his 28th birthday on Saturday.
Germany coach Joachim Low said in a statement from the national federation that the 28-year-old had been unprofessional repeatedly and so had taken the decision to remove the forward from the squad.
Kruse might also miss the European Championships as well as the England match on Saturday and the Italy game three days later.
He missed out on selection for the World Cup in 2014 – which Germany won - because of other off-field incidents.

Andreas Schulz, of Eurosport Germany, writes: “Kruse is likely to miss Euro 2016 now because he’s far from being the best striker and is not irreplaceable.
“This is not a big blow at all for the team and understandable as Löw is very keen on correct behaviour. So I’d say Kruse is out for good. It is like Kevin Kuranyi, who was suspended from the team by Low, who vowed never to pick him again after he left the stadium without permission during half-time of Germany's World Cup qualifier against Russia in 2008.”
