Neymar won't win Ballon d’Or with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo around, claims Roberto Carlos

Roberto Carlos claims Neymar will never win the Ballon d'Or as long as Lionel Messi and Cristiano are in-form.
The Brazil and Real Madrid legend supported his countryman's decision to swap Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain.
But says even though the move will benefit Neymar, he won't get any closer to the fabled Ballon d'Or trophy.
"I think he did well to sign at PSG," Carlos told France Football.
"To be the best in the world he had to leave Barca because there is Messi. Even if he must be aware that, as long as Messi and Ronaldo are in form, he will have to settle for third place."
Between them, Messi, 30, and Ronaldo, 33, have shared the last 10 Ballon d'Or awards and with both showing no signs of slowing down, the world's most expensive footballer will have to wait his turn.
Neymar had been in sparkling form this season, scoring 29 and assisting 19 more in his first 30 PSG games - although an ankle injury ended his season early he is expected to return in time for Brazil at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
