Paul Pogba’s tweet causes a stir ahead of Manchester derby

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba’s tweet on Friday evening certainly raised a few eyebrows ahead of Saturday’s derby against rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

It contained just two words – “Say what?”.

Many felt it was a possible response to claims made by City manager Pep Guardiola on the eve of the Manchester derby, that Pogba was offered to Guardiola’s team in the January transfer window.

Whether the France international was offered to City and whether Pogba’s tweet was his response to those claims, it has certainly added further spice to Saturday’s Premier League fixture at the Etihad.

Victory for City will clinch the title for them although Pogba will hope to have something to say about that on the pitch.
