The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (or DPRK for short) posted a selection of photos on their Facebook page showing exactly how they've revamped the world's largest stadium, revealing new seats, changing rooms and even a warm-up room branded with the FIFA logo on the wall.
Rungrado May Day was completed in 1989 and is currently used for football matches, athletics competitions and lavish displays of gymnastic and artistic performances referred to as "mass games".

16 arches make up the roof - which is said to resemble a magnolia blossom - reaching over 197 ft (60 m) in the air. 11,000 tonnes of steel were used to construct the roof while the total floor space is over 2.2 million sq ft (207,000 sq m), across eight whole stories.
