Plymouth manager Derek Adams has been named the Sky Bet League Two manager of the month for October after guiding Argyle to the top of the table.
It is the second time this season that Adams has been nominated for the prize, having missed out in August to Leyton Orient's Ian Hendon.
But the 40-year-old Scot got the nod this time after winning five of his six league games, with the only defeat coming at fellow promotion hopefuls Oxford, and steering Argyle to the quarter-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with victory over Devon rivals Exeter.
Former Ross County boss Adams, in his first season managing in England, won the award ahead of Michael Appleton (Oxford), Chris Wilder (Northampton) and Mark Yates (Crawley).
Plymouth head the table by five points ahead of Oxford with third-placed Portsmouth a further two points adrift.
Adams said: "I have a very good backroom staff in Craig Brewster and Paul Wotton, who I enjoy working with, as well as the rest of the staff at the football club and the players. We have a great team spirit."
