Villa sign Lowton

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Sheffield United right-back Matt Lowton for an undisclosed fee.

Blades academy product Lowton has put pen to paper on a four-year contract which will keep him at Villa until the summer of 2016

The deal is believed to be worth around £3 million and Lowton will provide competition for last season's first choice right-back, Alan Hutton, and deputy Eric Lichaj.
