Rio Ferdinand has taken to social media to defend his autobiography.
Ferdinand’s book, #2sides, is currently being serialised in the Sun and the revelations within it have caused quite the stir.
Thus far, the serialisation has touched on the QPR defender's thoughts regarding the John Terry race row, his relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes’s tenure at Manchester United.
His highly critical appraisal of David Moyes’s ill-fated reign at United, which he labelled ‘amateurish’ has resulted in somewhat of a backlash on social media.
However, Ferdinand has now moved to insist that he is not one for “shifting the blame” and appeared to blame serialisation for giving a skewed impression of his controversial book.
Ferdinand left United this summer after 12 years at the club but had an unhappy return with new club QPR after they were thrashed 4-0.
