Manchester United are expected to announce on Wednesday they will return to the United States for their pre-season tour this summer - but on a significantly shorter schedule than last year.

Organisers of the International Champions Cup are expected to confirm United's involvement and the names of the other clubs involved, but the tournament will be on a smaller scale.
It means United's tour will last around two weeks rather than three - United manager Louis van Gaal has made it clear he does not favour a lengthy pre-season trip.
The time available is also an issue - this season does not finish until June 14 for United's England players, who will travel to Slovenia for a Euro 2016 qualifier on that date.
The congestion is increased by the 2015-16 Premier League season starting on Saturday August 8, a week earlier than usual and cutting the time available for pre-season activities.
Last summer United played Los Angeles Galaxy and then the International Champions Cup facing Real Madrid - in front of a crowd of more than 109,000 - plus Inter Milan and Roma before beating Liverpool in the final.
Real Madrid will not be involved this time - the Spanish current Champions League holders will be taking part in a sister tournament in Australia along with Manchester City.
