Richarlison struggled to live up to expectations last season after managing just three goals in 35 appearances following his £60 million move from Everton, but he has received praise from his new manager after netting a hat-trick in the 5-1 friendly win over Lion City Sailors in Singapore. Ange Postecoglou said the Brazil international has "got all the attributes" for a striker.

Bayern's Tuchel "looking for a number nine" as Kane rumours swirl

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has revealed his admiration for Richarlison after the Brazil international scored a hat-trick in the 5-1 friendly win over Lion City Sailors in Singapore.
Postecoglou named a strong side but could only watch as Shawal Anuar gave the Singapore Premier League club a shock lead.
Bayern Munich target Harry Kane levelled from the penalty spot in first-half stoppage time after Pape Matar Sarr was fouled in the box.
Richarlison was one of 11 changes at the break as he partnered Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic in a front three.
He scored two goals within eight minutes and claimed a third in stoppage-time, with Giovanni Lo Celso also grabbing one, as Spurs finished their tour of Asia in style.
"I really like him (as a player). He's got all the attributes that I look for in a striker in terms of how he's got a really strong work ethic and he’s always in the right areas," said Postecoglou.
"I've really got a lot of time for him and he's one of the players I'm really looking forward to working with. You try to picture your players playing the football you want to play and I certainly think he can."
Richarlison said he "felt good" and thinks this season could be a turning point in his Spurs career after he found the net just three times in 35 appearances last season following his £60 million move from Everton.
"Last season, I had too many injuries - but now I feel good. My body is good and I am so happy," he said.
"Singapore has been so good for me and for the group."
Tottenham round off their pre-season programme with a home friendly against Shakhtar on August 6 followed by a trip to Spain to play Barcelona two days later.
They travel to Brentford in their opening Premier League game on August 13.
