Fabian Delph's Manchester City debut lasts 18 minutes as injury strikes

Fabian Delph’s debut for Manchester City lasted just 18 minutes when he was forced off against Real Madrid with an injury.

Delph started for City against Madrid in Melbourne after completing a controversial £8 million move from Aston Villa, joining Yaya Toure and Fernando in midfield.

However, the England international went down after 18 minutes with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

Delph was replaced by winger Jesus Navas.
