We expected plenty of big deals to go through before the close of business – and many did. However, there are a few unlucky souls stuck at their current clubs until January.

Son Heung-min came in from Bayer Leverkusen but Spurs were still desperate for reinforcements with West Brom's Saido Berahino and Newcastle's Ayoze Perez both mentioned as likely targets. Neither came in. It's down to you, Harry Kane...
