Sadio Mane holds the record for the fastest Premier League hat-trick after he scored three goals for Southampton against Aston Villa in... wait for it... two minutes and 56 seconds.
Mane scored his record-breaking hat-trick in a 6-1 rout in May, 2015 and added a second hat-trick to his name against Manchester City exactly a year later.
Mane broke the previous record held by Robbie Fowler, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored four goals in just 12 minutes for Manchester United against Nottingham Forest. As a substitute.

What was the first Premier League hat-trick?

The first player to score a hat-trick after the Premier League came into existence was Eric Cantona.
The French legend scored three times as Leeds United thrashed Tottenham 5-0 on August 25, 1992.
In total, four hat-tricks were scored in 1992 with Mark Robins, John Hendrie and Andy Sinton also achieving the feat.

Alan Shearer racked up an astonishing 11 hat-tricks in the English top flight with his last coming on September 19, 1999.
Fowler comes in second on the list with nine hat-tricks, while Thierry Henry and Michael Owen each scored eight.
Wayne Rooney and Sergio Aguero could both challenge the standing record as the pair have six and five respectively so far.
