West Ham suffered their fifth defeat in six games when turning in a shocking performance in a 3-0 home loss to Southampton.
The Hammers sit third from bottom in the Premier League - and are struggling to impress the fans at the London Stadium.
The first half was poor from both sides, but the visitors brightened up after their first goal - a sharp piece of improvisation from Charlie Austin, scoring with the first shot on target of the match.
Dusan Tadic grabbed the second just after the hour, with substitute James Ward-Prowse adding a third in injury-time to round off a comprehensive victory.
West Ham may feel aggrieved after having several shouts for a penalty, including one for handball against Ryan Bertrand.

TALKING POINT

Is this simply 'teething problems' at a new ground, or something more serious for West Ham? Sure, some nerves on a big stage can be expected, but these terrible displays and an apparent inability to defend can't really be put down to a new home. Plus, of course, they're not looking hugely happy on the road either.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Ryan Bertrand (Southampton): Good day at full-back for him, racing up the wing with intent and defending well.

PLAYER RATINGS

West Ham: Adrian 7, Nordtveit, Reid 6, Ogbonna 6, Arbeloa 5, Antonio 6, Kouyate 5, Noble 5, Lanzini 5, Payet 6, Zaza 6. Subs: Fernandes 6, Feghouli, 6 Fletcher 6.
Southampton: Forster 7, Cedric 7, Fonte 7, Van Dijk 7, Bertrand 8, Romeu 7, Hojbjerg 7, Tadic 7, Davis 8, Redmond 7, Austin 8. Subs: Long 7, Martina 7, Ward-Prowse 7.

KEY MOMENTS

40' - GOAL TO SOUTHAMPTON! That's a smart, improvised finish from Charlie Austin - who now has some evidence to back up his argument that should he be provided with the service, he'll score the goals. And terrific run from Bertrand up the left to create it too.
62' - GOAL FOR SOUTHAMPTON! Neat tap into the net from Tadic as Adrian commits himself - Kouyate had given the ball away and Austin made the most of it. For some reason Arbeloa stood with his arm raised despite being the one playing everyone onside.
72' - NO PENALTY! Payet tries to do everything himself, and then it falls to Feghouli who strikes the ball at the arm of the falling Bertrand. Still no penalty.
90'+2 - GOAL FOR SOUTHAMPTON! Easy-peasy for James Ward-Prowse, in plenty of space in the middle of the box, converting a cross from Davis who's made a terrific run there.
