Bournemouth hammer sloppy Chelsea at Stamford Bridge

Premier League, Stamford Bridge - Chelsea 0 Bournemouth 3 (Wilson 51', Stanislas 64', Ake 67')
Bournemouth were superb as they hammered a sloppy Chelsea side at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening.
The Blues, watched on by new signings Emerson Palmieri and Olivier Giroud, created little in attack as Eden Hazard led the line following Michy Batshuayi’s move to Borussia Dortmund.
By contrast Bournemouth’s front line of Callum Wilson, Jordon Ibe and Junior Stanislas was bright and constantly causing problems.
Chelsea lost Andreas Christensen to injury in the first half and once the youngster went off the home side looked considerably weaker at the back.
After the break Wilson and Stanislas took advantage as they got in behind the Chelsea defence and finished well past the returning Thibaut Courtois.
Then Bournemouth hit Chelsea with the sucker-punch as Gary Cahill lost Nathan Ake at a corner and the former Blue powered home the third goal, electing to celebrate against his old side.
The result sees Chelsea drop down to fourth as Liverpool move ahead of them on goal difference and Tottenham Hotspur are now just two points behind.
The only bright spark for Chelsea was the performance of Callum Hudson-Odoi off the bench as he looked like one of the only players likely to create anything for Chelsea.
