Speaking to Match of the Day, Silva said he was: "Really, really happy. We deserve the three points. The chances we created, we should score more goals. It is a fantastic win - one more clean sheet.
"That's the spirit I like, the desire to win every challenge. (Earlier in the season) we lost some confidence, we had a break and after we worked really well. It's the same team with more confidence.
"It is fantastic to be solid in this way.
The Everton boss praised Phil Jagielka for his contribution, saying: "He was to start on the bench, but showed how he is a good professional and prepares himself for what the coach and team needs. He is always ready to help the team.
"He really deserved the goal."
Silva also downplayed his spat with Unai Emery during the game: "The football is emotional. He wants the best for his team, I want the best for mine. At the end we spoke together and everything is normal."
He praised the fans after a season that has largely left them frustrated: "They can be the key for us, we have to give them what they expect. I came to a big club like Everton to give our fans what they deserve. It is a matter of keep working to achieve what we want."
Everton’s goal scorer Jagielka told Sky Sports: "It feels great. Obviously to keep a clean sheet as well. We are trying to build a little bit of momentum. We could have had a few more.
"They are a good team and obviously we beat Chelsea as well."
He also said of his goal: "Right place, right time. They are the best goals. It was nice to come away with the win. (We need to) keep winning games, it is all about momentum until next season."
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was pleased with the performance as much as with the win: "We had a few good chances and perhaps if we were more clinical it might have been a few more, but it's the three points that count.
"We set the tempo and towards the end of the first half felt it a little bit. They had large amounts of the ball but we showed quality when we needed to."
