Liverpool fans scramble for excuses after City loss: 'Goal-line technology is infected with a virus'

Liverpool may have suffered a blow to their title charge on Thursday evening, but they certainly pushed Manchester City close.

In fact, they pushed them about as close as it's possible to get in football, with John Stones preventing a goal-bound shot from crossing the line by the narrowest of margins.

Technology did show that the ball failed to cross the line... albeit extremely narrowly.
