Mino Raiola, the so-called 'super-agent' of high profile stars such as Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has been banned from football activity by FIFA's disciplinary committee for three months.
Raiola was initially banned by the Italian Football Federation on Wednesday, though the Federation did not give details of the reasons for the ban. The ban was then extended by FIFA to have "worldwide effect."
In response to the ban by the Italian Federation, Raiola said: "My personal concern is that it has been a sentence dominated by political willing, without taking into the right consideration the reason of law.
"I guess that Italian Football Association has not forgiven me when I have diffused my critics for their role in the disastrous state of Italian football, as well as their role around the latest episode of the racism problem."
With the ban taking immediate effect and lasting for thee months, it may hinder a potential move away from the club by Pogba.
However, with the transfer window in Europe closing later than that in England, a move to Real Madrid - as has been widely rumoured - would still be possible.
