FT: Leeds 0-3 Liverpool. Salah's 100th PL goal and strikes from Fabinho and Mane move the Reds up to third, just behind leaders Man Utd on goals scored. Leeds had Struijk sent off for a challenge that led to what looked like a serious injury to Harvey Elliott.

Trent Alexander Arnold takes aim from 25 yards out but drags his shot well wide of target.

GOAL! Mane finally gets his goal. It's met by a relieved grin from the forward as he takes Thiago's wonderful cut back from Henderson's cross and lashes it into the corner.

The Travelling Kop are cheering a spell of keep-ball from their side.

Eight minutes added due largely to that injury to Elliott.

A flurry of Liverpool corners come to nothing.

Mane jinks in from the left. He twists and turns and sees a shot deflect wide. He looks hugely frustrated. It's been one of those days for him in front of goal it seems.

How Liverpool haven't got at least three or four goals here is beyond this scribe. Leeds could have taken a serious beating on another day.

STAT via OPTA: Since the start of last season, Liverpool have scored more Premier League goals via corners than any other team (13).

SAVE! Alisson scampers back towards his own line and just about tips Bamford's sensational long-range lob over the bar.

SAVE! Meslier gets a touch on Mane's shot to divert it behind after the forward was provided with another gilt-edged chance to get on the scoresheet. He's had a fair few this evening.

Great to see.

Liverpool continue to threaten a third. This time Meslier gathers at the second attempt after initially flapping at Henderson's first-time strike from 20 yards out.

Salah sends Mane free. His first touch is poor and he is forced slightly wide, allowing him to be chased down and blocked as he looked to pull the trigger and make it three.

STAT: Leeds are at risk of failing to win any of their first four top-flight matches in a season for the first time since 1958-59.

There's a subdued mood in Elland Road. The fans clearly saddened by the worrying reaction of players and staff to that Elliott injury.

Applause from the crowd as Elliott is carried off on a stretcher. He is able to clap the supporters which is good to see but it may well be a serious injury.

There's a long delay and Klopp looks distraught on the side.

RED CARD! Pascal Struijk is sent off for his challenge on Elliott.

Elliott is now being treated by Liverpool's physios.

Harvey Elliot is down injured and Liverpool's players have hands on heads. It might not be a good one. Pascal Struijk made a strong challenge and VAR is checking it.

VIDEO: Fabinho makes it two.

Leeds have responded well to going two down. Liverpool have perhaps relaxed a bit too much.

More fine play down the left from the hosts. Once again Roberts is the man who benefits but his side-footer flashes wide of Alisson's left-hand post.

Leeds almost pull one back. Van Dijk makes a hash of clearing a left-wing cut back but Roberts can only nod a tame header straight at Alisson.

VAR did check for an offside for some time there and Fabinho was starting to look a bit anxious but he needn't worry. He has indeed notched only his fourth goal for Liverpool.

That was Fabinho's first goal since June 2020. It could well be a very important one as Liverpool finally get the cushion their dominance has deserved.

LEEDS CHANCE! Ayling is left free to meet a deep cross at the far but knees a poor effort over the bar. It’s a rare Leeds attack but he should have at least got it on target.

STAT: None of the so-called ‘big-six’ were able to win at Elland Road in the league last season – five of them drew with Tottenham suffering a 3-1 loss.

Trent Alexander Arnold steps up fires the free kick straight into the wall. Nothing to see here.

Cooper catches Jota with an arms in the face. It's a free kick to Liverpool 25 yards out in a central position. Liverpool felt there was a hand ball by Elliott in the build up to conceding the set piece.

Elliott picks up a loose ball 25 yards out but pulls a weak strike wide of Meslier's right-hand post.

Liverpool continue to dictate and probe for a second goal. We've seen very little of Leeds in the attacking third.

Llorente goes down for Leeds. The physios come on to ascertain the issue. He shakes his head and will need to be replaced.

VIDEO: Mane's miss.

Bamford makes an excellent run from deep to reach a long ball. He tries to play a one-two with Rodrigo but he can't quite take the latter's return ball in his stride and Alisson is able to mop up.

Meanwhile, Llorente goes in the book.

Liverpool are so dominant now. This time van Dijk is left free to meet a corner but he can't find the net.

SAVE! Meslier is off his line well to deny Elliott after the young midfielder took the ball beyond a defender and tried to squeeze the ball beyond the advancing keeper.

WHAT A MISS! Mane scoops a shot over the bar on the stretch from inside the six-yard box after a rampant run and cut back from Jota down the right.

Thiago arrives late at the far post to bullet a header into the net - but it won't count. Salah was offside as he raced into space on the right and picked out the Brazilian with a lovely cross.

GOAL! Salah nets his 100th Premier League goal! The striker slots home a first-time finish from Trent Alexander Arnold's low cross.

Liverpool counter with Salah and Mane again causing problems but another shot from the Senegal forward deflects behind for a corner.

Harrison jinks at Trent Alexander Arnold and skips beyond him. He cuts it back into the path of Firpo who can't get a decent attempt away. Liverpool were struggling but manage to clear.

Jota forces a smart save out of Meslier after taking Salah's delightful pass on the chest and stretching to get a volley on target.

Alexander Arnold curves another free kick into the middle but again the drill doesn't work out as no-one makes the run towards the delivery and the ball floats harmlessly behind.

Mane spins Phillips but sees his 25-yard strike deflect wide of the far post.

Free kick to Liverpool the far right. Liverpolo have a wealth of red shirts in the area but the delivery is poor and doesn't get past the wall. Cue cheers from the home support.

Trent Alexander Arnold whips a devilish ball into the six-yard box but Jota is caught on his heels and the opportunity for a tap-in goes begging.

No doubt that Leeds have looked the brighter and sharper side in the very early stages of this contest. Plenty of time for Liverpool to settle though.

SAVE! Rodrigo is fed in a central position just inside the box but rifles straight at Alisson who does well to parry. Raphinha carved out the opening when he took a ball to the right in his stride, cut inside and played it across for his teammate to have a strike.

Bamford spins into the right channel. The ball bounces nicely for him just outside the area but his volley flashes well wide of Alisson's near post - and then the flag goes up for offside.

DID YOU KNOW? Liverpool's 13-match unbeaten run in the PL is currently the longest in the top-flight (W10, D3). The Merseysiders have won seven of their past eight away league matches, including their last four on the spin.

League H2H at Leeds: Liverpool 19 wins, 15 draws, Leeds 17 wins.

KICK OFF! Leeds get us underway.

STATS: Leeds could fail to win any of their first four top-flight games in a season for the first time since 1958-59. They could also equal their longest winless run in the league under Bielsa.

WHAT ABOUT A BAMFORD BRACE? Patrick Bamford has notched 98 career league goals and has scored four times in his last seven Premier League appearances. Can he clock up a century at the expense of VVD and Co today?

Jurgen Klopp on England using TAA in midfield against Andorra during the international break: "Why would you make the best right-back in the world a midfielder? I don't understand that really. As if the right-back position is not as important as the others. People who say that, I struggle to understand how you could think that."
