Jorginho admitted "we were not producing our game" as Arsenal struggled to impose themselves against Aston Villa, going into the half-time interval 2-1 down. But re-energised by a frank conversation in the bowels of Villa Park, the Gunners scored three times in the second half, with strikes from the Italian midfielder, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Martinelli maintaining their title push.

Arteta praises Arsenal players' 'emotional qualities' after fight back at Aston Villa

Jorginho and Mikel Arteta both said that their half-time team talk was key to Arsenal's "beautiful" 4-2 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Arsenal were 2-1 down at the break and staring at the possibility of another trip-up in the title race.
But they recovered to score three times in the second-half at Villa Park, with goals from Jorginho himself, Oleksandr Zinchenko - his first in the Premier League - and Gabriel Martinelli.
Speaking afterwards to BT Sport about the breathless encounter, Jorginho said: "That's the Premier League.
"That's why it's the best league in the world. It's just beautiful.
"It's a very important [win], after the last results we had and the start wasn't easy. We were not producing our game.
"But we came in at half-time and had a talk, and then we went back to doing the basics that we needed to do, and we changed the game."
Gunners boss Arteta concurred that the interval had been the turning point, whilst admitting that lessons needed to be learned from their poor first-half display.
"We showed a lot of character and resilience to get back twice in the game and end up winning it," Arteta began.

"We have to take some lessons from today because especially in the first-half we didn't do the simple things right.
"But we talked at half-time, [saying] 'If we raise individual standards and start to deliver what they have to do, we're going to win this game'.
"In the second-half I think we outplayed them, we created chance after chance, we dominated absolutely the game.
"We needed a magic moment and Jorginho produced it.
"When you want to be at the top, you have to win in many different ways."
