Chelsea handed under-fire manager Graham Potter a timely boost with a very impressive 3-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz and Mateo Kovacic all got on the scoresheet for Potter's side as they secured a valuable victory. The Foxes were reduced to 10 men when Wout Faes was shown the red card late on.

'It's been a good week' says Potter after Chelsea win at Leicester

Chelsea beat Leicester City 3-1 to record their first Premier League away win since October.
Graham Potter's side took the lead after just 11 minutes thanks to a terrific volley from former fox Ben Chilwell.
Chelsea had a couple of chances to double their advantage shortly after, Joao Felix clipped an effort over Danny Ward and onto the post and less than 10 minutes later Felix did manage to put the ball in the back of the net, finishing off a brilliant team move but it was ruled out for offside following a VAR check.
Just four minutes later, Leicester City had an equaliser. Felix had his pocket picked by Ricardo Pereira, who laid it off for Patson Daka to thunder home from distance to make it 1-1.
It didn't take long for The Blues to go back ahead, though. Enzo Fernandez dinked a wonderful ball over the top for Kai Havertz, who was able to flick his effort over Danny Ward and into the back of the net. After previously going on a run of just one goal in 12 matches, Havertz now has two in two games.
Chelsea wrapped up all three points 10 minutes from time when Mateo Kovacic improvised brilliantly to volley home from close range. Mykhailo Mudryk did well to head the ball back across and the Croatian Kovacic made no mistake.
Leicester were reduced to 10 men late in the game when Wout Faes received his second yellow card for a late tackle - a frustrating end to a frustrating afternoon for Brendan Rodgers' side who have now lost four games on the spin in all competitions.

TALKING POINT - THINGS ARE LOOKING UP

It's another vital win for Chelsea as they look to turn around their season. This victory is Chelsea's first away win in the Premier League since October - ending a run of seven league away games without a victory. It's the first time they have scored three goals in a game since October and it's the first time they have won three consecutive matches across all competitions since October. Things are finally starting to look up for Chelsea, a real confidence-boosting comeback against Borussia Dortmund to send them into the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals and now consecutive wins in the Premier League. Graham Potter's side are now just four points off the top six - albeit having played two more matches than Newcastle.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH - ENZO FERNANDEZ (CHELSEA)

The Argentinian midfielder was brilliant. He was constantly involved for his side in both the attacking and defensive phases of the game. His superb long passing helped Chelsea move up the pitch and his assist for Kai Havertz's goal was a delightful one. Off the ball he won six of his 12 duels and won four tackles. A great performance from the 22-year-old.
