Manchester United will have to make do without Marcus Rashford for several games, including their Europa League first-leg quarter-final against Sevilla on Thursday, after a muscle injury sustained during the 2-0 win over Everton in the Premier League last weekend. Erik ten Hag is nevertheless confident his other players can make up for the deficit.

Rashford 'not broken' by injury says Ten Hag

Manchester United have confirmed that Marcus Rashford will not be fit to face Sevilla this Thursday due to a muscle injury and will miss “a few games”.
United host their Liga opponents in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final and will now have to compete without their top scorer this season.
Rashford has been United’s standout player so far this season under Erik ten Hag, with 28 goals already - a record for the 25-year-old forward.
United have struggled for players to feature up front. Jadon Sancho and Antony have disappointed at times on the wing, Wout Weghorst has failed to adequately fill the hole left by Cristiano Ronaldo during his loan spell from Burnley, and Anthony Martial has spent much of the season injured.
However the Frenchman scored in a substitute appearance against Everton at the weekend, the same match in which Rashford was forced off with injury on 80 minutes at Old Trafford, which United won 2-0.
United sit fourth in the Premier League on the same points as third-placed Newcastle, with Eddie Howe’s men boasting 48 goals, four more than United, and a far superior goal difference.
On the club’s official website, a statement read: “Subsequent assessment of the injury suggested that Marcus will be unavailable for a few games, but is expected to be back for the season run-in.
“The England international’s absence is a disappointment given his red-hot form this season, with 28 goals in all competitions.
“But there will also be relief about the prospect of his return for important games in the final weeks of the season.”
Ten Hag said of the injury that his team could cope: “We have many more players across the squad who can score.”
He continued: "I think we have players like Bruno, like Jadon Sancho, like Anthony Martial, like Scott McTominay, like Antony.
"We have enough players with the capabilities to score goals, definitely.”
Christian Eriksen is also fit enough to start against Sevilla after injury, and Casemiro is available having been out for four domestic matches due to suspension.
However there are doubts over Scott McTominay, while Luke Shaw will not be fit.
