Tottenham brought in two new players in the January transfer window with Ange Postecoglou expressing high hopes for both Radu Dragusin and loanee Timo Werner - who he can sign permanently in the summer. TNT Sports expert Ally McCoist believes they enjoyed a "great window" and credits Postecoglou for making the club an "attractive" place for incoming players.

Ange Postecoglou and Spurs' new stadium give the club a compelling case to attract new players, says Ally McCoist, after a “great” January transfer window.
After signing Radu Dragusin for over £25 million and adding Timo Werner on loan, Spurs also announced they’ve agreed terms with highly-rated Swedish midfielder Lucas Bergvall in a deal worth £8.5m.
The youngster will join up with his new side in the summer, as Spurs managed to beat Barcelona to his signature.
Bergvall made his Sweden debut in January before turning 18, but can now be signed in advance as a senior player and was a big target for the Catalan club before opting for Postecoglou and Spurs on a five-year deal starting before the 2024/25 season.
Both of Spurs' January acquisitions were involved against Everton on Saturday with Werner earning his third consecutive start and Dragusin on the bench at Goodison Park, still awaiting his first game in the starting XI.
The north Londoners were impressive for large parts of their trip to merseyside, and were only denied three points by Jarrad Branthwaite's stoppage time header in a thrilling 2-2 draw.
Speaking on TNT Sports ahead of the game, McCoist was asked whether it’s been a successful month for Tottenham.
“I think they’ve had a great window, obviously they’ve brought in the young centre back [Dragusin], Werner’s comes in and the young lad [Bergvall] has signed, Barcelona were interested, Man City were interested so that tells you something,” McCoist said.
Rangers legend McCoist added: "Not saying they haven’t been before, but Spurs are now a really attractive side to attract younger and older players. The way they play the game, the amount of goals, absolutely brilliant to watch.
"The other thing that would attract players is the manager. Obviously the facilities, one of the best stadiums in the world, the training ground is absolutely out of this world, but the manager.
"He’s a breath of fresh air, he’s great to listen to, you can tell you want to play for him.”
Postecoglou said the 22-year-old Dragusin was his "number one" priority in the transfer window after just half a season of Serie A with Genoa, seeing him as a player to shore up Tottenham’s defensive options immediately as well as longer-term development potential.
Spurs hold a worse defensive record than the rest of the top eight apart from West Ham, but Dragusin’s arrival coincides with the return of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven from injury.
However, it is not just at the back that Dragusin can contribute - he was nicknamed ‘The Train’ at Genoa for his aggressiveness in the air from set pieces at both ends of the pitch.
Werner has also impressed since joining on loan from RB Leipzig. He broke his Chelsea league goal tally in just 18 months back in Germany, and Tottenham have the option to make the deal permanent for around £15m in the summer after Werner made two assists in his first two games.
Regarding departures from Spurs, Hugo Lloris joined Los Angeles FC on a free transfer and a host of fringe players have gone out on loan including Eric Dier, Sergio Reguilon, Japhet Tanganga and Ivan Perisic.
