Joe Cole and Joleon Lescott hailed a TNT Sports initiative for the use of bodycam during the pre-match warm-ups.
Max Kilman and Brennan Johnson each donned a wearable camera as fans gained a point-of-view perspective of how a Premier League team finalises their preparations ahead of a match.
TNT Sports are showing live coverage of Wolves v Tottenham on Saturday, with Kilman and Johnson bringing fans a step closer to the Premier League stars.
“It's a great insight for the fans as people back home want to know what it's like to play football, and the ins and outs,” Cole said on TNT Sports.
“Sometimes there will be information about the game, and a general chat about what you want to do. It's a great opportunity for them to see what goes on."
Lescott then detailed how he approached the warm-up during his career and how each player’s needs were different heading into a game.
“I was very quiet in the warm-up, getting my mind right and body prepared for the game,” he revealed.
“I was vocal in the games, but the warm-ups are individual, it's something you do to get ready for the game.
“You've just got to be aware of what some players need. Some liked to be geed up and given a confidence booster, and some keep more to themselves.
“This is the way the game is going now, it's an entertainment industry and gives the new generation of fans an insight into the warm-ups.”
