Jurgen Klopp was not quite as euphoric as he would have liked, after seeing Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones all forced off with injury in Liverpool's emphatic 4-1 victory over Brentford at the Gtech Stadium. Jones and Nunez were both forced off before half-time, while Nunez was substituted at the break. It is a far from ideal situation for the Reds, who face Luton Town on Wednesday.

Jurgen Klopp was left to reflect on more injury woes in an otherwise convincing 4-1 win for Liverpool against Brentford at the Gtech Stadium.
Mohamed Salah scored on his return from injury, while Alexis Mac Allister, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo were also on the scoresheet in a resounding win.
However, going five points clear at the top of the Premier League came at a cost, with Diogo Jota, Curtis Jones and Nunez all added to an already lengthy injury list.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee), Alisson (hamstring), Joel Matip (knee), Dominik Szoboszlai (hamstring) and Thiago (muscle) are all on the treatment table, as the Reds battle for trophies on four fronts.
"It is mixed emotions, we lost players which we don't know how serious it is. It doesn't look great for either of them,” Klopp told TNT Sports.
“I think there was a knock on Curtis [Jones]. It was a challenge with Diogo [Jota] as well and Darwin [Nunez] we are not sure if he has something or not, he felt something.
"We will see. It was never easy for us; at the moment it is fine. We have 57 points and in a few days play again."
Despite the injury setbacks, Klopp was pleased by the way in which his side dealt with the physical and direct challenge posed by the Bees.
“What the boys did after 15 minutes was exceptional against a team set up to annoy you,” he explained.
“Eighteen times a set piece is flying into your box, you need bodies and luck in a moment and a goalie as well, who played an incredible game.
"We played a good game from a specific moment on. We controlled them as much as you can and we are happy about that."
Klopp’s side are back in action next Wednesday when Luton Town visit Anfield, before they take part in the League Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley on February 25.
