Jurgen Klopp said he has never seen a game of football feature "this amount of worldies" as Liverpool came from behind to snatch a 4-3 victory over Fulham at Anfield. The Reds fell behind in the 80th minute before goals from Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold with less than five minutes of normal time remaining saw Liverpool take all three points and move above Manchester City into second.

Jurgen Klopp branded Liverpool’s thrilling 4-3 win over Fulham as a “game you will never forget” as his side leapfrogged Manchester City into second in the Premier League.
Liverpool trailed with less than five minutes of normal time remaining at Anfield until Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold rescued a late victory that kept the Red just two points behind league leaders Arsenal.
It was a game that featured incredible strikes from the hosts, who denied Fulham a famous victory.
“The feeling after the game was exceptional,” Klopp told Sky Sports. “During the game it was slightly different in moments.
“I told the boys after the game that the game turned out [to be] the game we saw because we were a bit dumb.
“At 3-3, everyone could see the boys wanted more and because we were a bit lucky today we got it.
“Yeah, outstanding experience I would say for everyone who was here. I don't think anyone would have thought before the game that Liverpool vs Fulham will be a game that you will never forget in your life. But... you're welcome.
“I never saw a game with this amount of worldies, a competitive game, I mean.
“Trent's free-kick, unbelievable. Macca [Alexis Mac Allister], before the game you could see his foot is right today and he was really in the shooting. I thought today, 'You better try it', and he obviously thought the same.”
Alexander-Arnold’s brilliant free-kick broke the deadlock in the 20th minute, although it was given as a Bernd Leno own goal after it struck the goalkeeper before finding the back of the net.
Harry Wilson equalised for the visitors before Mac Allister re-established Liverpool’s lead with a stunning 30-yard strike that gave Leno no chance.
But Fulham restored parity at 2-2 on the stroke of half-time when VAR awarded Kenny Tete’s equaliser.
Darwin Nunez hit the woodwork in the second half before Fulham snatched an unlikely lead through Bobby Decordova-Reid’s 80th-minute header after Tom Cairney's cross.
It’s a victory that would have moved Fulham up to 12th in the table, a point behind Chelsea, but Marco Silva’s side were thwarted in devastating fashion.
Endo found the top corner from Mo Salah’s lay-off before Alexander-Arnold’s volley a minute later secured all three points.
Silva said his side “deserved much more” as Fulham fell to a third defeat in their last four matches.
“To come to Anfield and play the way we did - twice we scored to equalise - and then at the end of the second half to be able to score a great team goal and be leading is not an easy thing,” Silva told Sky Sports.
“We know the game is never 100 per cent under control against these types of sides and these types of crowds but the game was more or less under control.
“[Then] one long ball, a good second ball from them and another great finish from the edge of the box and in that moment, I knew it was the end of the match.”
