Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool boss 'absolutely fine' with Mohamed Salah after touchline row in draw at West Ham

Jurgen Klopp was keen to draw a line under the unsavoury touchline incident involving himself and Mohamed Salah in the 2-2 draw with West Ham United at the London Stadium on April 27. The two dropped points proved costly in Liverpool's stuttering title bid. The Reds will look to bounce back against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Spurs head into the game after a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Thursday.

'If Slot is the solution, then I'm more than happy' - Klopp on Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp says there is "no problem" between himself and Mohamed Salah and insists their disagreement has been resolved.
The German was quizzed over the touchline row between the duo in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with West Ham United, where Salah had to be separated from his manager by team-mate Darwin Nunez.
Klopp was keen to dismiss any suggestions of a rift with the player, as the Reds prepare to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at Anfield on Sunday.
"There's no problem. We are absolutely fine with it. It's a non-story," Klopp said in his pre-match press conference.
"I think we have the right to deal with these things completely independent of any expectations from the outside.
"If we didn't know each other for that long I am not sure how we would deal with it but we have known each other for that long and respect each other so much that it's really no problem.
"The best situation would be everyone is in the best place, we win the games and score loads of goals then yes, the situation probably would not have been like that because Mo wouldn't have been on the bench in the first place. It all depends on each other."

Liverpool are now the outsiders in the Premier League title race and appear likeliest to finish third in the table, which will seal a return to the UEFA Champions League for next season - a feat which Klopp believes cannot be overlooked.
"After last season we speak today three games before the end of the season about qualifying for the Champions League, which is an achievement," he added.
"That's how the perspective can change during the season because for a while we looked like we can go all the way and stay in the [title] race for longer. That didn't work out but it's still probably third place in the league behind two teams who have done really well.
"I know mathematically there is still a chance."
Klopp also revealed that Diogo Jota has not taken part in team training this week, but Conor Bradley has returned.
Meanwhile, he explained they "will have to see" on Virgil van Dijk's availability for Sunday.
