Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has ruled out a summer move for Marcus Rashford, saying he is "part of the project" at Old Trafford. The 26-year-old signed a new contract with the club in July and Ten Hag insisted he is not going anywhere. "We did not sign him last season for four years with the intention to sell him now," Ten Hag said on Friday.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has ruled out a summer departure for forward Marcus Rashford, who he believes is “part of this project”.
According to reports, there have been suggestions that Rashford could depart Old Trafford in the summer transfer window to help the club's Financial Fair Play compliance.
Despite the financial gain the club would benefit from by sanctioning the sale of an academy graduate, Ten Hag does not believe Rashford is going anywhere.
"We did not sign him last season for four years with the intention to sell him now," Ten Hag said on Friday. "He should be part of this project. It is not a subject we don't talk about."
Rashford signed a new contract last July, which is set to keep him at the club until at least 2028.
The 26-year-old will be looking to notch for a third game in a row when United face Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday, with a trip to Wembley on the cards for the winners.

The England international scored in a derby defeat to Manchester City, before converting a penalty against Everton in a much-needed league win.
Ten Hag hopes for injury boosts this weekend, with Rasmus Hojlund, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka potentially available for selection.
"We had a good week," Ten Hag said. "The players you mention [Hojlund, Maguire and Wan-Bissaka] returned on the pitch, partly at the start of the week and today [Friday] they had a session and were all training.
"We have one more session and we have to see how they recover from this but it looks good."
Ten Hag revealed Mason Mount is also close to a return following a four-month absence.
“Mason Mount trained all week with us,” he revealed. “He had some full sessions with us, so it's looking good."
United have lost four of the last six games against Liverpool since they last met in the FA Cup in 2021, where they won 3-2 at Old Trafford.
Despite Liverpool enjoying a nine-match unbeaten run, Ten Hag refused to label Jurgen Klopp’s side as favourites.
"It's a difficult one," the United manager explained. "I never think about who's favourite.
“We will make sure we are ready and I don't think about the opponents, it's about making it our game. It's about this.
"We know where the strengths are but we know it's about us."
