French goalkeeper Sebastien Frey has completed his move from Fiorentina to their Serie A rivals Genoa.
The 31-year-old has been performing in Serie A since his arrival at Inter Milan from Cannes in 1998 and Genoa will become his fifth Italian club after other spells with Verona and Parma.
Frey has signed a five-year-contract at his new club running until the summer of 2016 and is excited to get started with the Ligurians.
He told the club's official website: "I can't wait to get started.
"On Tuesday, I'll start house-hunting.
"I have already spoken to Dario (Dainelli, Genoa defender) and he's told me the club is like a big family."
Fiorentina, with whom Frey spent six seasons, released a statement on their website regarding the matter.
It read: "ACF Fiorentina announces that it has sold, on a permanent basis, Sebastien Frey to Genoa CFC.
"The company thanks him for the seasons spent together and wish him the best achievements of success for the rest of his career."
